Tour to the valley

Dog sledding to the valley, where we make a campfire in the gapahuk (norwegian lean over shelter).  We have som local food  and drinks while we wait for the northern lights.

Roundtour on the marshes

The shortest route goes into the woods over the marshes and back to the farm. Back on the farm we have som local food  and drinks in the lavoo.

Min/max number of guests 4/8.

Price  pr. person:  2500.-

Tour on the mountain

Exclusive dog sledding tour up on the mountain beyond the vegetation. We make up a campfire and have som local food  and drinks while we wait for the northern lights up on the mountain.

Price  pr. person: 5000.-

 

On all tours
On all tours we first have a gathering in the lavoo for a presentation/info about the tour. 

All guests participate in getting the dogs ready and in line on their sled. 

After emded tour we see to the dogs and give them food before we return to the lavoo.

Each tour takes 3-4 hours.

Other info

The tours are availible between desember and april. These tours depends on there being snow. The tours may also be canceled if there is really bad weather. All these tours are private, that means you will be alone with the guides.

You'll need warm clothes, winterboots, clothes and headwear.

We will provide video and photos from the tour.

NOTE: We only offer these tours under the northern lights, you will need to contact Sortland Villmarkssenter directly for dog sledding during the day.
