- Tromsø to Bodø Scenic Route: Sortland is located right in the middle of the popular road trip between Tromsø and Bodø:
- Tromsø → Senja → Ferry to Andenes (Andøya) → Sortland → Lofoten → Ferry to Bodø.
- Coastal Express (Hurtigruten / Havila): Fly to Harstad/Narvik Airport (EVE), take a bus or taxi to Harstad, and board the southbound Hurtigruten or Havila coastal ship. You will arrive in Sortland at 12:30 PM, with options to stop here or continue south to Stokmarknes, Svolvær, or Stamsund.
- Via Tromsø Express Boat: Fly to Tromsø, take the express passenger boat to Harstad, and continue to Sortland by rental car or public bus.
