Explore Vesterålen’s Coastal Wildlife

Join us on a coastal safari designed to track down three of Vesterålen’s most iconic coastal species: the Harbor Seal, Eurasian Otter, and White-tailed Sea Eagle. Following a carefully planned route, this tour offers a focused approach to locating these elusive animals in their natural habitats, along with opportunities to spot other local wildlife along the way.

The tour is conducted by car, though short walks may be taken if you wish to get closer for a better view or better photography angles. Photos and videos taken by your guide throughout the trip are included. Where local regulations and weather conditions permit, your guide may also capture aerial footage using a drone equipped with a zoom lens, ensuring the animals remain completely undisturbed. A selection of binoculars is available for guests to borrow free of charge.

Please note that coastal conditions can change quickly in the Arctic, and this tour may be canceled on short notice if adverse weather arises.
