Arctic Lake Ice Fishing Experience
Try your hand at ice fishing on a quiet frozen lake nestled in the landscapes of Vesterålen, located just 30 minutes (27 km) from Sortland. Guided and completely private, this winter activity allows you to fish for local species such as Arctic char and brown trout in a tranquil Arctic environment. On select days, you can even experience ice fishing under the Northern Lights.
The lake is situated just a one-minute walk from the parking area, making access easy and convenient. During the trip, a campfire will be made on land where you can warm up, enjoy a hot drink, and even cook your catch fresh off the hook.
