Experience Arctic Wildlife Under the Midnight Sun

‍Summer north of the Arctic Circle offers 24 hours of continuous daylight, making local wildlife and bird species far more active and accessible. From eagles scouting the coastline and owls scanning from the treetops to otters and seals sunbathing on the rocks, experiencing these animals in the golden light of the Arctic summer is a unique spectacle.

On this tour, we search for as many species as possible, stopping for landscape and photography opportunities along the way. All tours are private, ensuring you or your group have the dedicated attention of your guide. Because all our guides are experienced photographers, they can assist you with your camera settings during the trip, and they will also capture photos throughout the journey to send to you afterward.

These tours are suitable for everyone. You can choose to view the wildlife comfortably from the car or step outside for a closer look. While daytime tours are available, we primarily run these trips during the evening, night, and early morning between May 19th and July 24th, as animal activity is significantly higher during these hours.

Seasonal Wildlife Highlights

‍Depending on the time of your visit, you can observe unique seasonal activities:

• ‍Black grouse lek: April 20th – May 5th (early morning)
• ‍Hares fighting: April and May
• ‍Ruffs fighting: May 25th – June 15th (early morning)
• ‍Young animals (fox cubs, owlets, moose calves, baby hares): June and July (varies each year)
• ‍Year-round species: Sea eagles, golden eagles, grouse, moose, roe deer, foxes, seals, otters, minks, black grouse, and owls.
