Private Wildlife Safari in Vesterålen

Discover the rich and diverse wildlife of Vesterålen on a private, guided safari. The region is home to a variety of fascinating animals, including moose, eagles, foxes, reindeer, otters, and owls. Because animal activity and accessibility change with the seasons, our safaris are adapted to offer the best chances of spotting different species depending on when you visit. During the summer months, the tour takes place at night, allowing you to experience the wildlife under the spectacular light of the midnight sun. With a bit of luck, we might even enjoy some whale watching directly from the shore.

To maximize our chances of finding the animals, all our wildlife tours are conducted by car, though some short walks may be required to reach specific viewing spots. Throughout the journey, your guide will take photographs of the tour, which will be provided to you after the trip.

‍If you want to search for a specific animal, baby animals, or particular bird species, we can design a customized tour based on your wishes. Additionally, if you would like to see semi-tame reindeer up close, we can include a visit to a local reindeer farm for excellent photo opportunities.
